I absolutely love this place. I've been coming several times a week while working in Placerville and I'm so sad that my time working up here is almost done. The food is so fresh. The chicken is grilled perfectly, tender and flavorful. I am watching my carbs so the chicken with broccoli (instead of rice) is an amazing and super delicious option! The service is great! Everyone is so sweet and friendly. Definitely keeps you coming back!

Tastes like salty dog food. Beef is drenched in Teriyaki and the meat was dry. The salad was pure iceberg lettuce and the dressing was super bland. Over cooked rice. I hate posting negative reviews but...

I was taking my grandson out for his birthday lunch. He chose sushi, American ichi.  Sadly they're closed on Mondays. So we went to the Teriyaki Junction which is in the same strip mall as American ichi. Very disappointing, environment is...old.  The California roll was fake crabmeat and cucumber rolled up in rice...very dry. Miso soup bland and cold. The Bento box I got one side of teriyaki beef and two sides of teriyaki chicken with sides of lettuce with some sweet type of dressing and white rice. The rice was OK my grandson said it didn't taste right.  All three meat sides had same teriyaki sauce.  The beef was thinly, slightly dry and disappointing.  One of the two chicken dishes was ok the other had a strange taste for me. I will never go back and would not recommend.

9/5/2018:  I was gearing up ready to leave Placerville heading towards Sonoma CA for Sugarloaf State Park Campground; however, I was again, way too lazy preparing dinner for myself.  So, I decided rather than eating fried seafood I usually inhale next door, I should try eating at Teriyaki Junction for a change.

I quickly scanned the menu and of course, I always gravitate towards seafood as my first choice; therefore, I chose eating the large seafood combo which assuredly, will leave eating leftovers the next day, since I was leaving early in the morning heading towards Sugarloaf State Park.  As predicted, I couldn't inhale the entire combo in one sitting; as a result, I took my seafood combo to Sugarloaf Campground and ate the leftovers for breakfast and lunch!

The sauces used preparing the seafood combo had been marinating overnight which allowed more flavors developing into my sumptuous breakfast and lunch-delicious the second day!

I ordered lemon chicken to go and it didn't taste like lemon whatsoever. I am not sure if I got the wrong order or what happened but I was bummed! It was still good though, hence the four stars.
